Dr. Earl Henslin is a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical psychologist who has dedicated his career to helping people understand and heal their brains, relationships, and emotional lives.

He’s the author of Brain on Joy: The 9 Pillars of Positive Change, a powerful resource that connects brain imaging, emotional wellness, and spiritual growth in everyday life.

Dr. Henslin has worked closely with Dr. Daniel Amen and has been a pioneer in using brain imaging to guide therapy, helping people address trauma, anxiety, and depression through both science and faith. He’s also served as a professor at Biola University’s Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology and is widely respected for making complex neuroscience accessible and deeply practical.
