You can watch course video lessons as many times as you’d like as long as your Amen University Max subscription is active.
Is there homework with the course?
There are suggested exercises to practice the skills being taught - but no assignments are required.
Any course being taken for education units will have required assignments and exams to obtain your units.
Can I share a course?
Amen University is designed to be taken individually, and not ideal for group viewings. While you do not need to keep your course a secret, we ask that students do not copy or redistribute the materials in any way.

What is Amen University?
Amen University is an online learning experience that offers access to content produced by Daniel G. Amen, MD and carefully selected experts to bring you information centered around brain health and wellness.
How do I take and access my course?
Amen University courses are entirely on-demand, which means that you can enroll in the courses that interest you and learn at your own pace. You can begin the course whenever you like, and there are no deadlines to complete it.
Each course includes pre-recorded video lessons, course worksheets and community activities. The videos are viewable at any time, and they can be paused, fast-forwarded, and re-watched as many times as you'd like. In addition, many students utilize the lesson discussions below each video to share their thoughts, upload their performances, and provide feedback on others' work.
Can I access my course on mobile devices?
Amen University courses can be accessed from several different devices and platforms, including a desktop / laptop, iPad and tablet devices. The courses are also mobile friendly and can be viewed on your smartphone browser.
How long do I have to complete my course?
There are no deadlines to begin or complete the course. Even after you complete the course, you will continue to have access to it, provided that your account’s in good standing.
What happens after I finish a course?
You can review the course materials at any time. You can also interact with the community of other students to encourage each other along your way to health and wellness.
How are the courses set up?
Each course consists of 5+ hours of video content which is split up into individual lesson videos that you can watch and re-watch at any time. In addition to the lesson videos, each course (purchased at the Premium Level) has downloadable PDF worksheets that you can use to supplement the videos and a student discussion board that you can use to exchange feedback and discuss the lessons.
You can take the course at your own pace, so the number of weeks it takes to complete the course will vary.
What topics are covered in the course?
Each course syllabus will be available on the course homepage. Scroll down to the 'Lesson Plan' to see a description of each lesson in the course.
What type of device/browser do I need?
You can view courses on any internet-enabled device, on any modern browser.
Can I download the videos?
No, the videos are not downloadable - but they are available in your account at any time, ready for viewing (and re-watching) at any time.
Will I get automatically charged?
You will be charged on the date of your initial subscription, and then automatically charged annually for Amen University Max at the then-current annual rate until you cancel. There are no refunds for partial subscription periods.
Can I cancel the automatic renewal of my Amen University Max subscription?
Yes! Once you’ve signed up for Amen University Max, please reach out to our Customer support team. Our team will then cancel the automatic renewal of Amen University Max.

You’ll continue to have unlimited access to every course you had purchased individually.
What does the enrollment fee include?
For courses at Basic level, unlimited access to every lesson and community discussion board.
For courses at Premium level, unlimited access to every lesson, community discussion boards, supporting course PDFs, downloads, and supporting digital content.
For courses enrolled in with All-Access Pass, you get unlimited access to every lesson in every course on the site until you cancel
